Guild Learning Center

The Guild Learning Centre is a platform whose singular mandate is empowerment of nurses and midwives across the African continent, through the efficient and effective building of skills using appropriate scalable digital technology coupled with on-ground, in-country local presence. It was born out of a multi-year memorandum of understanding between the Foundation and East Central and Southern Africa College of Nursing (ECSACON) simply known as The College. It is a secure learning system where knowledge is created through various activities like Micro-Credentialing, Fellowships and Continuous Professional Development. The Guild also hosts Webinars, Discussion Forums, Newsletters and Podcasts. By becoming a member now, you will have access to these resources. It is ECSACON’s Official Learning Management site. Nursing/Midwifery-Driven Innovation through microfinance and scholarships

The Nurses Guild cultivates nurse leaders, supports nursing research and innovations, and disseminates new models of care. They are all critical to transforming our healthcare system into one that is more patient-centred, accessible, equitable, and affordable; one that delivers high-quality care patients need and deserve.

Nurses and Midwives can and should be at the forefront of innovation. In the healthcare system and in the community, nurses and midwives do workarounds all the time. We just don’t call it innovation, but that’s what we are doing and that’s what we have always done.  The guild is the platform to communicate and formulate innovative ideas.
